February tends to be a ruthless month of cold, harsh winds and snowstorms that eventually melt into NYC gutter-slush-puddles. Luckily, this year February was punctuated with unseasonably warm days reminding us that spring is just around the corner. And with spring comes the paralyzing realization that I need to get my body in bikini shape. So I’ve been hitting the gym extra hard (the lure of Miami’s Ultra Music Festival is a great motivator) with my gym playlist handy. I’ve recently discovered some fun treadmill tracks that function just as well for the weekend party circuit. Enjoy!

When did Spencer & Hill diverge from Euro Club hits (“Back in the Love” anyone?) to sexy, dark electro? Regardless, I love this.

“Trespasser (Club Mix)” – Spencer & Hill

Great vocals always help keep my adrenaline running high.

“Follow You (Youth Kills Edit Remix)” – Ayah Marar

The first adjective that comes to mind listening to this is “adorable” – but don’t be deceived, the tempo will keep your feet moving! (Credit to Stoney Roads for this track).

“Burning Down The Haus” – Kap10kurt vs. Original Hamster

Tommie Sunshine also came to the rescue with a fantastic mix appropriately titled “Eyes Towards Summer”. Some parts get a little too tech-heavy for my personal tastes but Tommie is truly a master of mixing and it’s well worth the (free!) download.
