Not gonna lie, when Dimitry Mak of Modern Machines sent me a link to his mashup of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” and Deadmau5’s “You And I” remix, I almost wrote it off. DON’T MAKE THAT MISTAKE!!! Dimitry’s blend is by far my favorite take on Gotye’s track, which has oversaturated the remix market. These two songs go together like flannel and Avicii (who by the way just posted this adorable video of well-wisher kids answering questions about him like he’s God… which, well ok. …TRUTH.)
