Electric Daisy Carnival coming to NY!
Electric Zoo was disappointing for me last year so I can’t tell you how ecstatic I am that for the first time ever, New York City will play host to Electric Daisy Carnival! The video above is a nice teaser but I can’t wait to see the lineup. Festival dates are May 19 & 20, tickets go on sale Friday March 2 at 3 PM. Don’t be fooled by the title - the latest track from Avicii’s Swedish compatriot, Nause, may not be as aggro as dubstep but it’s certainly not mellow. Uptempo with flutes and a whistle-along melody, this is perfect to get yourself up and moving after a Friday night hangover. Bonus points for the bizzarre, psychedelic bike ride music vid.

Somebody That I Used To Know (Asenso 'Dark Knight'...
I know I said I wouldn’t post another remix of Gotye’s track after Dimitry Mak’s mashup but… I lied. Newcomer producer Asenso puts his unique spin on the track with multi-layered drum beats, bells, and dark, squelching horns. The drop at 2:28 is refreshingly unexpected. Enjoy!
